Well i live in Sunderland in a 1940 house and i have experienced a couple of things...........
1. When i wa by myself on my netbook downstairs i heard an almighty thud from up stair from my parents room and i went up and nothing fell or anything.
2. When i was getting ready for school when my parent were on holiday and my sister just went to work, someone whispered my name and felt like i was getting followed around my room.
3. I often hear footsteps coming up the top landing when my familys asleep.
4. Someone opened my door when i was 10year old, walked in and dissapeared (she looked elderly)
This is no lie!

i have had several... i go on paranormal investigations and weve had stones thrown at u, been pushed over, seen thing, heard growling, whispering. When I went on a colleje trip to Craig-y-no we had a ghost tour, I saw a little girl stood in their basement, but her face faded away into shadow.
