Would I be a good candidate for an astronaut or a science position at nasa?

I have a BS in soil and crop sciences w/a minor in systems engineering (mechanical, electrical, and computer) I am also going through grad school for a PhD in molecular and environmental soil and plant science and environmental science. ( my focus includes the near earth zone and all its interactions and factors from microbes to dirt to plants to water to the atmosphere) its encompassing field is one of the reasons I chose it. I did some intern labor while I was an undergrad at Biosphere 2, and an environmental consulting firm. Ive always loved space, and then I branched off to biology somehow, (probably because u grew up on a farm). But Id still like to try to be an astronaut, or labor in a research role at nasa. nasa has very broad specifications on their job descriptions, and for astronaut itd pretty much anything STEM related, but Id like to keep working in my field, I dont want to join them and they just throw me into something.
