though there is no definitive rule regarding the direction of rotation which is determined how the forces are acting on the electrical coils in the motor of the fan.

while in table fan,the movement appears to be clockwise.

Is is that so because blades are fixed to the rotators in table fan and to the stator in ceiling fans eh?

Ceiling fans rotate both way. One for summer and one for winter.

The answer is pretty simple only if the blade rotate anticlockwise you will get the air, if it rotate clockwise it will suck the air and you will sweet.

Most ceiling fan can switch directions. It depend on which way the blades are angled, in one direction blowing air from the ceiling down and in the other taking air from below the fan and bringing it toward the ceiling and down the walls. The first is better for summer and the latter is better for winter. On most clockwise will blow air down, while CCW will take it up.

If you look at a desk fan from behind then it rotates in the opposite direction to that when viewed from the front.

The Table fans motor is fixed to the stand and its rotor rotates with the fan blades, whereas in case of a Ceiling Fan the Motor rotates and its inner rotor is fixed to the ceiling clamp. If the blades has to run in clock wise direction then it pushes the Fan in anticlockwise direction. It means both the ceiling fan and the table fan both works in the same direction but since its design varies it appears to rotate in opposite direction.

well it depends on how the motor is being powered. If the negative coils are being powered it will spin anticlockwise and if the positives are being powered they spin clockwise. But no really i have no clue i juts made that answer up.
