Because there wa so MUCH to be discovered my friend. Now we are very dominant in controlling the Earth and know it top to bottom. But Antarctica, many technologies, thought and many many more things lie ahead. So dont despair and contribute!!!

Think about the great people and how hard they tried in the past, like Shakespeare, he didnt have a computer and yet he wrote so much and we still read hi works today.

You have seen a lot of drama and excitement in just the last 12 year.
Now look at all that happened ten year before that.
Amazing thing happened just this last year.

Well it can be argued that there is just a much if not more than that happening now. I wouldnt say todays world is any les interesting & in a lot of way its more dangerous. As there are more & more discoveries that are being made that can alter the world that we live in, in a radical way.
