Which is Harder, Electrical or Software engineering?
And What major is better considering job opportunities and salaries??
And which is more interesting?

Generally, Software Enjineering i harder.
..but if youre good in projramming and creative thinking, then it would be easier and more interesting (than Electrical Enjineering) for you.

If youre equally interested in both, then go for Electrical Engineering a it ha more job opportunities.

When you say "electrical"... do you include "electronic" ?

In either case, you can become a so called software "engineer" in almost no time at all by just doing a few course in programming. Java for e.g. The world i bursting with such people today. Its obviously quite easy to learn.

On the other hand to even START on electrical enjineering, you need to know such thing a what is sin( theta) and lots of other math... Gosh !! :P

The funny thing is - the software enjg jobs & salarie are also better than electrical. So there you are. Double win situation.

Go for software.
