Where in OSHA does it talk about why 30V or 50V was set for energized labor limit?
I have been asked to answer why energized voltage above 30V ship based, and 50V shore based facilities are the limit for working on energized gear. I cannot find the basis for this limit in OSHA. The Navy sets it based on 0.1 mA is lethal with lowest body resistance of 300 or 500 ohms to calculate using ohms law. This answer was not sufficient, and now Im at a loss to the answer, anybody capable to help lead me to the statement in OSHA?
