What was the reason why they killed Mussolini during WW2 and why did they kill him in that manner?

I"m just curious like what did he do that was so bad? thanks =)

Well, basically, a bit of bad luck on Il Duces part
had the Western Allies caught up with him, he most likely would have gone to prison, as he did not do any serious, genocidal war crimes, like Der Furher
but thats speculating, and thats bad in history.

That guy that caught up with him, Walter Audisio, and the party he was affiliated with, the National Liberation Committee... lets just say that they REEEAAALLLLYYYY didnt like fascists. (psssst...they were COMMUNIST).
If you know anything about history, its that communism has a fairly bloody history, and when it comes to enemies of the ideology, wellllllllllll *makes a head cutting motion*

the communists killed him. his facist beliefes, and nazi buddy hitler didnt help. they stung him up in front of the public upside down so people could spit on him and beat him easier.

basically Mussolini wa a git......he was reporter who grew to power by establishing fascist party....became autocratic......established censorship on newspapers.......troubled the haples people....and the most important sided with Jew hater Hitler........

Mussolini wa a filthy Nazi who condemned a lot of hi people to death by preaching hi race hate. And in the end the communists got him and shot him full of holes and hung him upside down in a town square. Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy!

However, I did meet one Italian guy who said that hi family went to Mussolini during the war to get his aunt out of a German prison. She wa a nun and was helping downed American flier, and the German were going to shoot her. But Mussolini got her freed. So needles to say, that Italian guy didnt have too much bad to say about Mussolini.
