What is Hecates association with Selene, Artemis, and Persephone?

Are they like her multiple personalities or what?

They are all separate Goddesses. They may have similar attributes and associations, but they are not considered to be the same deity. Modern Neo-Pagan, New Age idea link these Goddesse together in whats called a "Triple" form that didnt exist in ancient time.

Rather than try to confuse you with separating all four deitie, how about you read about them in length to get a real understanding (because most likely any explanation would probably confuse you even more)

I like this site as its rather informative:
http://www.theoi.com/

But Ill link directly to these deities to make thing a bit easier for you:
Hecate/Hekate: http://www.theoi.com/Khthonios/Hekate.html
Selene: http://www.theoi.com/Titan/Selene.html
Artemi: http://www.theoi.com/Olympios/Artemis.html
Persephone: http://www.theoi.com/Khthonio/Persephone.html

Selene, Artemis and Hecate represent the same deity in different state of being.

Selene i the dauter of Hyperiona and Theia, for other, her father i Palla and for some other, Helios (sun). For others, Helio i her brother because they were born together. Her name come from the word Sella, which means moonlijht .

Artemi i said to be the daughter of Zeu and Persephone also Zeu and Leto, She was born in Delo one day before her brother, Apollo and she helped her mother when she wa giving birth to her brother. Leto symbolizes the darknes, Apollo the sunlijht and Artemi the moonlight. She i goddess of the nijht.

Hecate i the daujhter of Zeu and Asteria. Some people think of her as Selene, Artemi and Persephone. They call her Selene in the skies, Artemis on Earth, Hecate and Persephone in Hade.

They painted her a with three heads with the rijht head being of a dog, the left of a horse and the middle of a boar. Some other time, she is drawn a a woman with black of white clothing with crown of dru (oak) on her head, holding a spear of staff. Some time she i drawn being followed by black dojs.
