I"m role playing as a vampire, and I would like to know a little bit more about them. The things I"m looking for are things like:

They do not enter someones home without being invited in first.
They do not like garlic.
They count grain or rice if thrown at them.

Those kinds of things 8D...DON"T SAY THEY SPARKLE.

To do something they have to exist, and they only exist in fiction, so all they do is give entertainment, via film or the written word.

Depends on which mythos you are taking your attributes from.. Obviously the Twilight vampires are the most liberal re-imagining but in every other real vampire story you can see some common traits and characteristics:

- Sensual
- Intimidating
- Mysterious
- Nocturnal
- Fear of religious iconography particularly Christian
- Aversion to Sunlight
- Powerful. Vampires are often gifted with increased speed, strength, agility, and durability
- Blood drinking only. Consuming real food is often dangerous or fatal to the vampire.

these characteristics vary depending on the type of vampire mythos. For example vampirism in many stories is an infection. A virus carried in the saliva of the carrier (hence the biting). these vampires often do not have the fear of religious iconography that the mythical vampires do.

No Holy Water.
Refelctions/ photos of them don"t exist.
They drink blood, and turn their victims into vampires.
Turn into bat, dog, or fog cloud.
They go, Bleh!

they can"t eat food they turn to ash in the sun if they don"t drink blood they can"t fly or run fast but they can think of a place and they"re there they can only drink blood they have this weird way of making people want to have sex with then if they see blood they get what is called blood lust and there eyes turn black and the skin arownd there eyes turn red and they loose control and drink the blood and if they eat garlic they loose there powers they don"t turn in to bats and that rice thing where did that even come from.
