What"s your favorite line from Douglas Adams "Hitchhiker"s Guide to the Galaxy"?

I put this in astronomy because i assume this would be the division where most of you have read this amazing sci-fi book.

An impossible question. I currently like this line:

The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks dont.

...But, says Man, The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isnt it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you dont. QED.
Oh dear, says God, I hadnt thought of that, and promptly vanished in a puff of logic. "Oh, that was easy," says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.

"Dont panic"
(if that count)

Douglas Adams wa a genu... and everyone that loves his storie are also geniuse.

I also love the paragraph that talk about the usefulness of towels, and these:
"Space i big. Really big. You just wont believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it i. I mean, you may think its a long way down the road to the chemist, but thats just peanuts to space, listen..."
"Ford, youre turning into a penguin. Stop it."
"Looking up into the night sky i looking into infinity distance i incomprehensible and therefore meaningless."
"This planet has or rather had a problem, which wa this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for thi problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green piece of paper, which wa odd because on the whole it wasnt the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy."

The quotes other people said are all great too. I think I may have repeated some of them...

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Humans are not proud of their ancestors, and rarely invite them round to dinner.

The dew has fallen with a particularly sickening thud this morning.

She is the least benightedly unintelligent organic lifeform it has ever been my distinct lack of pleasure not to have been able to avoid meeting.

Ford, youre turning into a penguin. Stop it.

What to do if you find yourself stuck with no hope of rescue: Consider yourself lucky that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasnt been good to you so far, which given your present circumstances seems more likely, consider yourself lucky that it wont be troubling you much longer.

Time is an illusion, lunch-time doubly so.

Its true, too.
