I posted a question earlier on whether it was possible to be an ATC (air traffic control) officer for my first four years, and then become a force recon marine officer in the next four. However, i got a response saying i could not go from being an ATC officer to force recon officer, I would need time as a platoon leader in infantry first, and that I cannot go from being a pog officer to a combat officer.
My question now is, what if it was the other way around? If I was a force recon officer for my first four years, would I be able to switch and become an ATC officer for the next four years? Would that be possible instead?
