The usb charger of my ipad just broke so I am now using the usb charger of my phone (not an apple product). It works just fine but I want to ask if this will cause some problems in the future.
The ipads charger has 5.1V output while the charger of my phone has 5V.

Also what will be the effects of using a charger with lower output?
I also noticed that the ipad charges very slowly and I also want to ask if this is related.

Thanks

The voltage difference i minimal so it wont make any difference. I think the allowable range on USB i 4.75 to 5.25V so your iPad should cope with 5V input.

The slow charging is probably because the phone charger cant supply as much current a the iPads charger doe. Check the current ratings on the two chargers.

no you desire to maintain the voltage the comparable or danger unfavorable the workstation some electronic will tolerate slightly voltage spike or maybe larger voltage yet no longer by employing lots you may have greater amperage potential, because of the fact the workstation will merely draw what it desire, yet in no way too lots voltage
