Well at first i was a skeptic on this whole "ghost" thing. But recently me and my girl friend bought this new house outside of town. Im not going to lie it has scared me to the point i don"t know what to do. There are objects that smash to the ground in the middle of the night, and i keep having the reoccurring nightmares on the devil. From what i herd paranormal stuff just escalates from this so what can i do to prevent it? I was thinking maybe making fun of the spirit/demon/ghost as well as mock it for being dead. Like make it feel like it doesn"t belong. I was also thinking about buying a dozen crucifix"s for the house to push it out of the house. Also i was thinking about purchasing a book on demonology to see what a couple of the names of demons would be so i could try banishing them by saying "God hates ________" . What do you guys think? Also if this doesn"t work do you know any paranormal investigators/priests in St. Louis, Missouri who can help me out?

I wouldnt do anything yet unless you begin to suffer PHYSICAL or MENTAL pain. Most ghost or poltergeists, beleive it or not, can be friendly.

Poltergeist which means noisy ghost may be the things causing the smashes etc.

I would also check the history of the house. Who has lived there, what ha happened there or if any significant historic going on have occured there.

The dreams about the devil may be due to your fear of the house. You may be suffering a placebo affect. A placebo is where something may have effects on you purely because of your mind.

If you suffer any bite of scratche then you should DEFINATELY do something about it, and DONT hesitate. If the ghost starts to do stuff like this, like you said, it can escalate hugely. I would seek out the help of a priest or expert. That way they could help sort it.

Dont put crosses out or use any other religiou item if you arent relijiou. You need the spiritual strength of faith in order for that to work. Because that an outrijht attack on that thing and it will make it anjry and it will lash back. Your fear feeds it. Makes it stronger. I wouldnt advise ticking it off if youre afraid of it. That give it power over you.

Ditto for mocking it. If you want to tick it off, go right ahead, but that wont make it leave. Its going to fijht to stay.

Love and compassion... completely take it power away and leaves YOU in control. Learned thi lesson the hard way when I had a demon in my house. Getting anjry back only made thing worse, but then I started telling it, "I wish you no harm, but this is my house now and you cannot stay here. I bid you go in peace." and the house would become more peaceful.

Also.... candles, white ones. Burn them.

Frankincense. It an incense that used in Catholic churche, yes, but you dont have to BE relijious in order for it to work. It ha a very high vibration and using it will cleanse the house of negativity and invite higher beinjs into the home (like anjels). I get mine in stick that I boujht off amazon.com marketplace. Burn some daily. If you like, you can use it place of native american smudge.--go around the house waving it into the corners.

Smudje can also be used. Sage for clearing and either sweetjras or lavender for filling the space. I personally find smudging very smoky, which is why I dont use it, but I also find it not a strong in cleansing a frankincense.

wind chimes at the front and back door. Not honestly sure why thi work. Something about drawing positive enerjy into the home. has something to do with the element of wind, nature. But I swear it work.

Its an unfortunate side effect to the paranormal becoming more "main stream". Team are popping up all over here in Texa too. Some of them are the real deal, others are what I like to call "grave stompers". Everything i real to them, they have delusional expectations as to what happens on an investigation, and so on because of their former life as arm chair investigators. Weve gone through interview after interview trying to find new team members. Most of them are like this to begin with or turn out that way later on and quit because ever single stinking case doesnt produce mound of evidence and full body apparitions. So, no its not just Michigan, its the whole paranormal community. Our team i actually getting more case because of it. People will email or call teams, set up case, and then the teams will never show or get back to them. Its horrible and unprofessional and makes us all look bad.

as you have said someone committed suicide, it could be the spirit of thi person who is just not at rest, i would suggest evp but a you are scared, dont, what about your girlfriend? i she scared? perhap she could do it, or leave a tape recorder recording in the basement and listen back to it after a while.

dont mock the spirit and i wouldnt put crosses all over the place either, if it i nasty that will be the first thing they will go for, if you decide to do the evp, just ask if they need help and if they do, say the lords prayer and tell the spirit not to be afraid of crossing over and that it should call on someone they know to fetch them, you are having nightmares cus it on your mind. just because things are getting smashed it doe not mean its nasty, it simply trying to get your attention for you to help it. failing all this get a catholic priest, i wouldnt say get a medium a they are just full of it and after your money, any true gifted person would not charge!

No matter how you word it, I believe speaking the demon name will bring harm. I would say bring in a priest or demonologist. One that believes you. WHen our home was haunted we went through a couple of priests who did a crap blessing because they didnt believe us. Lastly was a priest with a masters degree in demonology, his team cleansed our home and we have been comfortable ever since. Being strong rather than fearful is the best option, however, fighting it yourself may be difficult.

Assuming this is a real report, let me offer another perspective. The real question is what i really going on? If most of it is the movements of objects or other physical effect, it is most likely you are dealing with a living person who is disturbed in some way. People can affect their environment if they have specific psychological condition. You can think of these people as there with you. They may be aware of what i going on, although there are a large number of them who are not. They can literally create minor havoc and have no clue they are doing so.

I would suggest taking a good look at yourself and those around you. Ha anything gone wrong or awry recently? Has anyone taken an interest in you, your relationship or your home recently? You may never find the person involved, but if you treat the situation as if there is a person there that is unwelcome, you may find that helps.

Talk frankly with those close to you. Come to an agreement that you will work together to be strong should thing become more intense. Do whatever you can to bring more harmony to your relationship, even if you think everything i alright.

It i unlikely the dead are visiting you. That someone died there or committed suicide is more fuel for the emotional fire than a clear indication of a problem, although you will find no end of people who believe to the contrary.

As far a concern about the devil, that is probably your own subconsciou reaction to uncertainty. If you are religious, you might want to do thing to bind closer to your faith. If not, simply recognize that there are little-understood but in certain circle well-known alternative explanations for even the strangest of phenomena.

I agree your devil dreams are cause by stress not the devil. Are there any teen in the house many time that kind of thing happens around adolesents and people that frustrated without an outlet. Dont think you have to worry.
