Three resistors in parallel have combined equivalent resistance REQ=1 kilo ohm .. if R2 is twice the value of R3 and three times the value of R1 .. What are the values of R!,R2 and R3...?

R1=2k, R2=6k, R3=3k

R1=R1,R2=3R1,R3=3R1/2..adding inverses and then inverting..>R1=2k,R2=6k,R3=3K

1/1000 = 1/R + 1/2R + 1/3R

R/1000 = 1/1 + 1/2 + 1/3

R = 1000*11/6 = 1833.333

you can work out r2 and r3

if you wanted to check, youd code

1/? = 1/1833.333+1/(2*1833.333)+1/(3*1833.333)

? = 1/(1/1833.333 +1/(2*1833.333) +1/(3*1833.333))

? = 1 / ((1 / 1 833.333) + (1 / (2 * 1 833.333)) + (1 / (3 * 1 833.333))) = 999.999818
