My boyfriend wont marry me when were joining the military?My boyfriend wont marry me when were joining the military? My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and some change, I really care about him and when we met he told me about his interest in the military. I have been considering the military since I was 16, Im 22 now and Ive decided with where my life is right now its the best idea and Im ready for the change that the military will bid. Because I cherish my boyfriend I have talked to him about us being separated often, because wed be a dual military couple, and Ive told him how the military doesnt really acknowledge boyfriend and girlfriends, only husband and wife. He told me if we are together in 5 years while just being boyfriend and girlfriend then Im sure well be married by then while Im not necesssrily in the biggest rush to get married, I cherish him and he loves me so why not if it gives us even the slightest higher chance of being together? I dont meditate the military will accommodate us and my greatest fear is we will not be stationed together. Would I be wrong to push this ? |
