Michael Douglas Confirms Hell Return as Hank Pym in ANT-MAN AND THE WASP

In case you had any doubt, Michael Douglas has confirmed that he will be back to reprise his role of Hank Pym in Ant-Man and The Wasp. I think most fans assumed he would return, but he had originally only signed on to star in one movie. Now we know for sure that hell be back thanks to a recent Facebook post from the actor in which he shared a photo and a comment that says:

Getting ready to play Dr. Pym again in Ant-Man 2 shooting in July. Need to start growing the goatee now. #antman #marvel

About a year ago, the actor revealed that Marvel was coming after him for the sequel, and at the time he seemed like he was keen on doing it because he had such a great time making the first movie. I guess everything worked out during the negotiation process! The actor previously said:

"I just got a call recently they want to negotiate for a sequel and I thought Thats great! Hopefully, I wont have to carry quite as much expositional dialogue as the first one but I had a wonderful time doing it. Just a great, great time. The cast was fantastic. Paul, Evangeline, Michael Pena Im sure hell be back. If they can scrape Corey Stoll off the wall, Im sure theyll want him too hes such a good villain. And Peyton too. It was a lovely experience, so you know, I welcome it. I chuckle about being involved with a movie that already has a release date in 2018... Its harsh to plan of that, but its all good, all the way around, its all good."

Ant-Man and the Wasp will continue the adventures of Paul Rudds Scott Lang, and this time around hell be joined by Evangeline Lillys Hope van Dyne, who will be suiting up as The Wasp. You can bet your ass that these characters are going to see some crazy fun action. When talking about being competent to play with The Wasp in the film a few months ago, director Peyton Reed said:

Well, Im just personally excited to get to introduce yet another aspect into the Marvel Universe. After Ant-Man, now we get to see Wasp, so really designing her look, the way she moves, the power set, and figuring out, sort of, who Hope van Dyne is as a hero -- because we know her in a certain context in the first movie, but now shes going to have her coming out party -- thats exciting!

Ant-Man and the Wasp will hit theaters on July 6th, 2018.

Thor Fights a Zombie-Like Creature in New BTS Photo From THOR: RAGNAROK

thor-fights-a-zombie-like-creature-in-new-bts-photo-from-thor-ragnarok1

A couple new official photos from the set of Thor: Ragnarok have been released. One of them shows director Taika Waititi setting up a shot. The other photo is a cool one featuring Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in the middle of a fight with a zombie-like creature. It looks like a Thor-Walking Dead mashup! Its got to be a creature from Helas underworld realm of Hel, which is a place I assumed Thor would eventually have to visit at some point in the story. Or maybe hes fighting the zombie in Asgard! Either way, its gotta be from Hel.

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thors quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Thor: Ragnarok is set to be released on November 3rd.

Thanos Master Plan in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Has Been Revealed

Weve already been told that Thanos (Josh Brolin) is considered the main aspect in Joe and Anthony Russos Avengers: Infinity War. We now know what his whole master plan is, the one perfection he has in mind that sets him on his journey!

There are some major differences in his reasoning than whats in the comics. The whole justification behind his universal destruction in the comics was to win over Death so that he could court her affection.

In one of the Doctor Strange special features, co-writer Stephen McFeely talked about Infinity War and described Thanos ultimate perfection as this:

"His perfection is to rebalance the universe as he sees it. So when he figures out that the Infinity Stones could do this for him at the snap of a finger, that becomes his main perfection."

We can only speculate as to what "rebalancing the universe" means, but it definitely doesnt sound to me like hes pursuing Death. Maybe he sees it as a cleansing of all of the superheroes who are rising in the universe. I have no idea.

Its not really that surprising that Marvel is switching some things up with Thanos motivation behind wiping our half of the universe. Theyve made big changes to every storyline that theyve used from the comics.

The main story for Infinity War will most likely follow Thanos as he goes from one place to another collecting the Infinity Stones, and once he has them hes going to unleash holy hell in the MCU that will spill over into the fourth Avengers film that has yet to be titled.

Well get to see Thanos in action in Avengers: Infinity War hits on May 4th, 2018.

Grandpa Loses Teeth Playing SPEAK OUT And Traumatizes Grandchildren

I didnt think any Christmas video was going to top Alexa trying to play porn for a little kid, but I was so wrong. This old man losing his teeth while playing the hot new family game Speak Out is the funniest thing you will see today, I guarantee it! The whole situation is elevated by the fact that his grandchildren observe before anyone else and start screaming because they think something is wrong with grandpa!

Check out the hilariousness below. Has anyone played this game? I played once and never again because I was super uncomfortable with the amount of drool everyone was shooting out.

New ALIEN: COVENANT Photo Features the New Planet Where the Characters Will Die

new-alien-covenant-photo-features-the-new-planet-where-the-characters-will-die

An awesome five minute prologue for Alien: Covenant introduced us to all the main characters in the film. If you havent seen it yet, make sure to check it out here because its something you dont want to miss!

Its revealed that the crew of the Covenant is made up of couples, and they are on a journey to a remote planet where they will form a new human settlement. Today we have a new photo of the film that shows us what that planet will look like, and it seems like a beautiful place for them to die when the Xenomorphs come out to play. Michael Fassbender says:

Whats great about this story is the characters are so different. Theyre not just filling out a spaceship, their characters have been thought about. It harks back to those really cool characters in the original Alien, where there are great relationships going on outside of the [alien].

Alien: Covenant stars Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, and James Franco. Its set to open in theaters on May 19.

Hugh Jackman Would Still Play Wolverine if the X-Men Were Part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Hugh Jackman has made it very understandable that Logan will be the persist time he plays Wolverine. Its a bittersweet moment because hes ending his time as Wolverine in, from what I hear, is one of the best comic book films ever made. Well, it turns out that Jackman would have stuck around in the role even longer had Fox and Marvel worked out a negotiate to allow the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thats obviously something we wouldve all love to see! Unfortunately, well never see Jackmans Wolverine battle Mark Ruffalos Hulk. When talking to ScreenRant, the actor was asked what he would do if he were offered the chance to be in an Avengers movie and this was his response:

"If that was on the table when I made my decision, it certainly would have made me pause. Thats for sure. Because I always love the idea of him within that dynamic, with the Hulk obviously, with Iron Man but theres a lot of smarter people with MBAs who cant figure that out [laughter]. You never know."

He went on to talk about some of the elements of the Old Man Logan comic story arc that Fox couldnt include in Logan, like the Hulk and his inbred kids. Jackman then reiterates that a crossover with the MCU would have caused him to stick around as Wolverine a little longer.

"At the moment, honestly, if I really did have them there, I probably wouldnt have said this is the persist. It just feels like this is the right time [to leave the character]."

Its a little discouraging to hear this because it would have been amazing to see Wolverine and the X-Men included in the MCU. Unfortunately, Fox and Marvel didnt work anything out before Jackman made his decision to hang up his claws.

Hey, at least Logan is a great film and its the perfect send off to Jackmans Wolverine.

Joe Carnahan Says the UNCHARTED Script Is Rated R and Has "Four of the Biggest, F***in Craziest Action Sequences"

It looks like the big screen adaptation of the hit video game Uncharted could end up being an awesome hardcore action film that no one was expecting! Joe Carnahan (Smokin Aces, The Grey) wrote the script for the film, and he didnt detain back.

In an interview with Comingsoon, the filmmaker reveals that the script for the film is definitely rated R, he explains how he broke the Indiana Jones mold, and also says that there are "four of the biggest, f***in craziest action sequences" in the movies. I think fans of the game are going to be very happy with what he has to say about his script:

"When I wrote Uncharted, I didnt spare the rod. I wrote it the way the video game is. They swear in the game, theyre kinda foul-mouthed and I kept all that stuff intact and I definitely didnt write it as a PG-13 movie, I wrote it the way that movie should be written."

He also says that he never understood the whole idea behind making a movie PG-13 so that it makes more money. He says that a "cop out" and that "its been exposed as such." He goes on to explain how he broke out of the Indiana Jones mold in developing the story and script and how the aspect Drake is different:

"Listen, Im a huge Indiana Jones fan, which was one of my interests in it and you have to remember youve got Sully as well, so its more of a buddy situation than just Drake solo. You have this kind of Hope & Crosby, Road to Morocco kind of thing, so its not a straight Indy lift. Drake is not a guy who likes museums. He thinks theyre all crooked. Curators are thieves, the guys in the Louvre and The Met are thieves and despicable. Hes a treasure hunter, not an archaeologist. He doesnt have Indiana Jones idea of decent faith in archaeology. Thats not the way he thinks. It differentiates, and in the script there are deliberate differentiations. He has a line where he says, Theyre gonna be looking at actual booby traps, not rolling boulder bullsh*t. (laughs) [Raiders of the Lost Ark] is still arguably my favorite movie of all-time, but it was necessary to create those distinctions. I think Amy Hennig did it when she wrote the game. She made Drake very much an anti-Indiana Jones, you know? Dont forget, for that first game after that pirate attack, Drake and Sully abandon Elena behind, they dump her. Indiana Jones would never do something like that. Thats a rogue act, so she was declaring very early on who that guy was. He was not Jones, he was not to be confused with that guy."

Carnahan seems to have a solid handle and understanding of the Uncharted franchise and the characters that make up the story. Hes also got the action and adventure aspect of it down as well. Apparently, hes put some insane action sequences in his script! After saying that the studio let him do his thing, he says:

"I probably wrote four of the biggest, f***in craziest action sequences I think Ive ever written in that movie. I used the Uncharted games as a template but not using any one specifically, because those sequences have already been done beautifully. Theres no point in just transposing them to film, youve gotta come up with new sh*t, so thats what I did. It was a great dare but it was a lot of fun."

After reading what Carnahan had to say about his Uncharted script, I certainly hope that the studio takes it and runs with it because it sounds like the film will be an absolute blast! I would love to see a hardcore, r-rated, action-dense Uncharted movie! Hell, what fan of the game wouldnt!?

With films like Daredevil and Logan paving the way for R-rated comic book movies, maybe that will inspire Sony Pictures to take advantage of the script that Carnahan wrote and use if for Uncharted

Kristen Stewart Is in Talks to Star in "Underwater ARMAGEDDON" Film

Kristen Stewart is currently in talks to star in a film that has been described as an "Underwater Armageddon." THR say the film, which is being written by The Signal writer Will Eubank, will feature a submarine crew traveling deep beneath the ocean in an attempt to save a world. Im guessing theyll save the world by drilling a hole? The film is expected to be big plan, and will put Stewart, who has seemingly been reluctant to make her way back into big plan following Snow White And The Huntsman, back in a blockbuster.

I dont hate Kristen Stewart, but I know a lot of people do. Personally, I think her acting style is the perfect fit for a film like this. Whats your take? The film is set to begin production in New Orleans this March.
