Ever see a car in a movie and wish you could own it in genuine life? Apparently, thats something celebrities think as well, and while their picks are a little more bizarre than the ones I would go to (minus Tim Allens), its still an interesting video to watch nonetheless! Check it out below.

E3 2021 Happening This June with Nintendo, Xbox, and More Already Announced

>

e3_2021.jpg

E3 has been the big video game convention for fans to enjoy for years. Well, the plans for E3 2021 have started to be unveiled, including the fact that its actually going to happen. Persist year, the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year, gamers will be competent to enjoy an all-virtual event from some of the biggest names in gaming. E3 2021 will happen June 12-15 for free.

According to The Verge, Capcom, Konami, Nintendo, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Games, and Xbox are all included in the lineup for the year. Gamesindustry.biz adds Koch Media to the list as well. So far, some of the big players missing are Sony, EA, and Activision Blizzard. Theres still quite a bit of time left, so theres always the possibility of those companies and more to be announced, but who knows.

I also want to take a moment to talk about predictions. I dont have too many predictions, but I think that if a Nintendo Switch Pro, Super Nintendo Switch, New Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch U is coming out, E3 2021 would be the perfect time to announce it. I think theres a pure chance well hear something about Breath of the Wild 2 and Metroid Prime 4 although I still wouldnt get my hopes up too high. What are you hoping to see at E3 2021?

For $650, 10 fans will be competent to get a hardcover of the graphic novel, a Radiant Black/Inferno Girl Red print, and a super awesome Inferno Girl Red helmet! The helmets measure in at 13 wide, 12.2 long, and 9.4 inches high. They weigh 1 kg, are made of resin, and are designed to be wearable with a transparent smocked visor. I want one so bad! Review: MAGIC #1 Shows Promise to Explore the Lore for Existing Fans of the Popular TCG

>

magic#1.jpg

Magic #1 is officially out. Writer Jed McKay and artist Ig Guara are letting fans of Magic: The Gathering take a look at a fresh, new take on the lore of the popular trading card game. BOOM! Studios was kind enough to send me a imitate to review, but I assure you the thoughts are my own. I will also do my best to not spoil anything in the review that follows of the first issue. You can purchase your own imitate from local comic shops, comiXology (affiliate link), or wherever you like to purchase comics.

NEW SERIES. A new beginning for the pop culture phenomenon of Magic starts here from Jed MacKay (Marvels Black Cat) and Ig Guara (Marvels Ghost-Spider), perfect for new readers and long time fans. Across the vast Multiverse, those gifted with a spark can tap into the raw power of Magic and travel across realms -they are Planeswalkers. When coordinated assassination attempts on Guildmasters Ral Zarek, Vraska and Kaya rock the city of Ravnica and desert Jace Bellerens life hanging in the balance, a blend is lit that threatens not just these three Guilds, but the entire plane of Ravnica. Now these three must covertly infiltrate the wild plane of Zendikar and form a tenuous federation to uncover why the targets of the assassins have all been Planeswalkers... which will direct them straight to one of the most enigmatic characters in Magic history!

This new series has some genuine promise to help fans of MTG come to learn about and better appreciate the lore. Theres a lot of lore surrounding the game that can require a lot of searching and reading to scratch the surface. The new comic series, Magic, offers a more streamlined approach for people to quickly learn some of the said lore. Granted, were only in the first issue, so its a little too early to tell if everything will be nice and easy to digest or not.

I really like Guaras art. It feels related to MTG, and Arianna Consonni did a fantastic job with the colors. The art created by this team draws you into this fantasy world. Its absolutely stunning.

McKays writing is good, too. I personally am not a big fan of the first three or four pages though. Its all world building, but I feel like its the vaguest world building they couldve thought up. I can appreciate world building, but I want it to feel like its significant, and this doesnt feel significant. Once you get to the action though, things start getting put together and they start to get interesting. We get action, we get some intrigue, and we have hints of an old romance or friendship that soured.

Overall, Magic #1 is okay and shows a lot of promise. However, when the action and dialogue arent happening, it feels like its just spouting fun facts. I think MTG fans are going to really enjoy this new series though. What did you think of Magic #1?

Chris Pratts Sci-Fi Action Film THE TOMORROW WAR Gets a Summer Release on Amazon

>

chris-pratts-sci-fi-action-film-the-tomorrow-war-gets-a-summer-release-on-amazon.jpg

A few months ago it was reported that Amazon Studios picked up Chris Pratts sci-fi action film The Tomorrow War for cool $200 million. Weve now basic that the movie will exclusively premiere on Amazon this summer on July 2nd.

The film was originally supped to be released persist year in theaters during Christmas, and then it was pushed to July 23rd. Now its not going to be released in theaters at all, its just going straight to Amazon, which seems like a humble. This was a flick I was looking forward to seeing in theaters.

In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a intelligent scientist and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

Chris McKay (The Lego Batman Movie) directed the film from a script by Zach Dean (Deadfall). It co-stars Yvonne Strahovski, Betty Gilpin, Keith Powers, Sam Richardson, and J. K. Simmons.

What do you all think of the movie skipping theaters and going straight to Amazon?

We probably should have seen this coming.

Deadline reports that CBS has officially delayed the premiere of Bryan Fullers Star Trek: Discovery from January of 2017 all the way until May, meaning that well now have to wait five more months to see the new show. Fuller has been teasing small plot details here and there, including that this will be the first Trek show that doesnt center on a captain, but weve yet to hear about any actors who have actually been cast in the show. Considering that they were supposed to premiere in four months and theres been essentially no genuine promotion beyond the Comic-Con teaser, that seemed suspicious and, well, it wasnt a great omen.

Apparently Fuller and executive producer Alex Kurtzman are behind the delay because they requested more time from the network. They put out a joint statement:

Bringing Star Trek back to television carries a responsibility and mission: to connect fans and newcomers alike to the series that has fed our imaginations since childhood. We aim to dream big and deliver, and that means making sure the demands of physical and post-production for a show that takes place entirely in space, and the need to meet an air date, dont result in compromised quality. Before heading into production, we evaluated these realities with our partners at CBS and they agreed: Star Trek deserves the very best, and these extra few months will help us achieve a vision we can all be proud of.
The series template and episodic scripts that Alex and Bryan have delivered are incredibly vivid and compelling, said CBS TV Studios president David Stapf. They are building a new, very ambitious Star Trek world for television, and everyone involved supports their vision for the best timing to bring to life what we all love on the page.

Currently, they have three scripts written and the entire first season planned out. The premiere of the shows 13-episode first season will make its debut on CBS before moving to CBS All Access, the channels new streaming service.

Look, it sucks that fans will have to wait even longer to see Trek return to TV, but as weve seen so often in the world of film, being locked in to a release date before the realities of production set in and refusing to allow more time for a better product often results in disaster. Im glad theyre taking the time they need to get it right, because this new show matters a whole lot to a whole lot of people.

Funny Photo of Harrison Ford Accidentally Punching Ryan Gosling in the Face While Filming BLADE RUNNER 2049

funny-photo-of-harrison-ford-accidentally-punching-ryan-gosling-in-the-face-while-filming-blade-runner-2049

Harrison Ford has previously shared a story of how he accidentally punched Ryan Gosling in the face for genuine while filming Blade Runner 2049. You can watch Harrison Ford share the story of the experience below in a video from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. This was obviously supposed to be a fake punch to the face, but in one of the takes, Ford ended up connecting his fist to Goslings face.

A still from the film has now surfaced online that shows the direct aftermath of the punch that you can see above and it had me busting up laughing. the look of faces on both Gosling and Ford are just hilarious. Both of them have this cartoonish-like, "Oh, shit!?" look. I would love to see the video clip!

Blade Runner 2049 will be released in theaters on October 6, 2017.

BALDURS GATE III is Genuine and Everything Else from Googles Stadia Connect Including Pricing, Release Window, and Games List

I have been really interested in Google Stadia since it was first announced a couple of months ago. Since then, there have been a fair number of rumors and speculation regarding Googles approach to gaming. In case you dont know what Stadia is, it is the ability to stream games over the internet to any device running Google Chrome. Got a crappy laptop? As long as it runs Chrome and you have internet that reaches at least 10 Mbps, youll be competent to enjoy a long list of AAA games like everyone else. Today was the services first ever Stadia Connect and we got a lot of new information including pricing, release window, and a list of games that will be available.

First, lets talk about the games that will be available. The first game revealed was Baldurs Gate III. Thats right, that rumor about Larian Studios making Baldurs Gate III have turned out to be true and it is one of the many games making its way to Googles streaming service. You can watch a announcement trailer for it below.

We also saw that Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Section 2 were making their way over. Other games include Gylt which appears to be a horror game, Get Packed which is a wacky game I dont know how to describe, and Destiny 2 complete with all the DLC and expansions. If that list doesnt have you convinced yet, heres even more great titles:

  • DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2

  • DOOM Eternal

  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood

  • Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid

  • Metro Exodus

  • Thumper

  • GRID

  • SAMURAI SHODOWN

  • Football Manager 2020

  • The Elder Scrolls Online

  • The Crew 2

  • Assassins Creed Odyssey

  • Trials Rising

  • NBA 2K

  • Borderlands 3

  • Farming Simulator 19

  • Mortal Kombat 11

  • Rage 2

  • FINAL FANTASY XV

  • Tomb Raider Trilogy

  • Darksiders Genesis

  • Just Dance 2020

So, you might be wondering how much this whole thing is going to cost and when it will be available. We dont have a solid release date, but it was announced that 14 countries including the United States would get Stadia this November with an eventual rollout in 2020 to everyone else. The price will vary depending on the experience you want. You can choose to not pay a subscription fee (called Stadia Base) to get up to 1080p gameplay at 60 fps and you simply have to purchase the individual games. This unfortunately wont be available until next year though. If you want to go the subscription route (Stadia Pro) you can start later this year and it will run you $9.99 a month which is a lot better than I thought it would be. That gives you up to 4K resolution, 60 fps, 5.1 surround sound, and access to games for free. Plus, you get a discount on purchasing certain games. If you decide to cancel your subscription, youll still be competent to play any games you had already purchased.

One more thing to consider is the Founders Edition. This is available now for pre-order and gives you 3 months of Stadia Pro, a buddy pass for 3 months of Stadia Pro for a friend, an exclusive Night Blue Stadia controller, a Founders Stadia Designate, and a Google Chromecast Ultra. This bundle will cost $129 which is really good considering the Chromecast Ultra and Stadia Controller for about $70 each on their own. If you want to play on your TV, you will need these. However, if you want to play on a different device, you can use any supported controller.

I am sorely tempted by this bid, especially since I have a Chromebook that cant run most games. This could be a very good option and the price is incredible. I thought it was going to be a lot more. What do you think of this list of games and pricing for Stadia?

Couch Tomatos latest movie comparison video offers us 24 reasons why The Skeleton Key and Get Out are the same movie. Its always weird when he compares a completely awful movie with a great movie because you dont want the two films to be the same! In this case, I didnt like The Skeleton Key but I loved Get Out. But then you watch the videos and it makes sense. Its coarse to argue with him, these two movies are pretty much the same!
