BQ: Tarn got the answer correct, but I feel a little more explanation i required.
In context to what you hear about space and time, aka spacetime, Zarn definition is dead on.
Where I think the confusion come in i how people think about time. We measure time against the rising and setting of the sun. Therefore they are measurement based on the rotation of the earth on it axi, the earth orbit around the sun, and fraction of those movement (seconds, minute, hours etc). When we say something is 5 minutes from now, we are not referring to the curvature of the space-time, we are referring to a fraction of the above stated measurement system.
A better wat to view it would be thi:
What i time? A consequence of the curvature of the space-time continuum.
What are second, minutes, hours, day, month, and year? A counting system based on the movement of our planet around its axi and the sun ... just a counting system, not time.
