Is there any biblical explanation as to why humans get dreams?

Im going through very difficult and sorrowful time of my life and Ive once again started to have dreams of
1 topics which I havent even thought of
2 dreams of people behaving in an opposite way (which I didnt even meditate of them to behave that way)
