is it possible for a type 2 insulin controlled diabetic to be perfectly healthy whilst not taking medication?

Right so im 18, 19 in just under 4 months. I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic when i was 13. first i had tablets now im on insulin and have been for 3 years (by the way im no longer able too swallow tablets for various reasons). Anyway ive never really complied with medication ( i have a few disorders mentally we wont get into that) so basically in the five years ive been diabetic ive probably only taken medication all n all about 7 months of that (broadcast throughout 5 years only complying for 2 weeks max at a time) so at my persist diabetic clinic as per usual they did theyre checks and my feet are fine al my organs fine my bloods are fine everything perfectly healthy. now my blood sugars are rarely under 20mg/mmol (i meditate thats what comes after on bloodsugar reading lol) my HBA1C has never been under 12.5% and my highest was 24% my highest ever blood reading was 47mg/mmol and all i had was the shakes! doctors have said they dont know why but maybe my body has adapted and coping itself but wont carry on blah blah... now im asking out of curiosity and am not looking for you should control you diabetes blah blah coz not too be rude but if youv heard it once youve heard it a million time (and i really have) and i cant take it in anymore so it does come in n go out the advice coz i know the risk the pros the cons i have 2 type 1 diabetic friends and a friend thats died from diabetes i know my reasons for not taking my medication all this time but thats not for here but yeah too conclude!!!!! please answer just coz i wonder if i can live too 40 or beyond like this :)
lol and they always said oh it will effect you in 5 - 25 years so im only curious and know its at the beginning of the eta

In a word, no. You will not make it to 40 if you keep ignoring your health. It sucks that you have to pay more attention to your diet than most people and take medicine. Its not fair. But very little about life is fair, and you play the cards youre dealt. If you want to live a long life, without excessive pain and with some independence in your later years, you have to change your ways now.

Im concerned you consider yourself "perfectly healthy" but you have a raging chronic disease that you have absolutely no desire to control.
Yes, it hasnt killed you yet, or caused you to have a heart attack or lose a leg. But it will at some point.
6 years of poor control is 6 years of damage to your body.
And your HA1C clearly reflects this.

Perhaps something will knock some sense into you at some point.
Perhaps it will be your first foot ulcer.
Or when you cant feel your legs anymore...
I wish you well.

Its nice that your eye, foot, and kidney exams show no gross abnormalities. But were talking here about microvascular disease, so you should look upon that as a lack of bad news, not a bit of good news. The latter would be much too optimistic.
Also, Id caution you not to compare your Type II diabetes to your friends Type I diabetes. Theyre completely different problems. Type Is can decrease their risks of organ damage by tightly controlling their blood sugars. To date, the only thing tight control in Type IIs seems to do is increase the incidence of hypoglycemic episodes. For you, diet, weight control, and sulfonylureas will decrease your risks; everything else, including the insulin, only keeps you out of a hyperglycemic hyperosmotic nonketotic coma. Most diabetics, and a large number of doctors, arent aware of that, so keep your guard up, and try to take better control of yourself.

Honestly with HbA1Cs like that I would be shocked if you make it to 40 without some SERIOUS health problem. Things like heart attacks, blindness from micro-vascular damage in the retinas, los of sensation in your feet leading to ulcers which easily become infected due to poor blood flow (caused by the diabetie) and eventually the infection eat all the way to your bone and portion of your feet will be amputated. (btw antibiotics arent much help with that b/c the poor blood flow to your feet at that point).
I know you dont feel it now, but trust me you will in the future, you need to think ahead to what your body will be like in your 40s, 50s, and 60s (if you live that long).
Your HbA1C should be at 7% tops, and you have never even been close, you NEED to get on this.

You may be thinking the risk are exaggerated, but trust me they are not, I spend a lot of time in hospital and with diabetics as part of my schooling, and this happens all the time to people who think just like you are now, I see it all the time.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. Ive got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my nieces wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. Ive been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.
