Is it even possible to create a login form for an Access 2007 database?

I"ve been searching all over the internet, Youtube and in books for a solution but can"t seem to find one that actually works.

I have a database on Access 2007 with multiple tables. Basically I want users to be prompted to insert a username and password before being given access to the switchboard with links to all the other forms.

I have found line after line of code online but nobody has actually said whether it works or not. I can"t find a conspicuous answer anywhere. I can find solutions for 2003 and older versions but NOTHING for 07.

Help!

Yes, you can as it would be for any version of Acces by building your own utility.
In fact, I created an E-Book and even allowed a download of the utility to modify your own version as can be adopted for your won database.

The only thing is, I sell this e-Book for a small special price for my visitor or client. Take a look at http://AccessDatabaseTutorial.com/offer/offers/ to see my offer on thi login utility tool.

But there are variation of how to build a user form with macros and/or VBA (which i really required) on the internet and probably could spend some time extracting the free info. Access 2007/2010 i no different from previous versions, perhaps even more so now that user-level security is no longer a feature here as it ha been replaced with trusted locations and SharePoint.

Take a look at my offer page and if your have any further questions, drop me a line (see my bio signature below).
Hope this helped.

Create a kind with the fields from the appropriate tables. e.g. you need to have a table with the username and password. If those are diverse table, they might want to after all be linked. Then create a kind making use of thi table or those table (if the fields come from separate tables.)
