Can anyone find the reference given by Neil Tyson about a policeman seeing a UFO?

In this video Neil Tyson mentions that a police officer was tracking a UFO but that the UFO turned out to be Venus. I am skeptical that this story isn"t just an urban myth. I would love to know who the officer is and where and when it happened. I believe that this story may exist but that the officer might disagree with the debunkers that it was just Venus. Do you accept the story as truth just because Neil Tyson told it and it was entertaining or are you skeptical of things that you might normally agree with?
I"m trying to see how many skeptics are just pseudo-skeptics so please give it a shot.

Maybe he was referring to "The Condon Report" form the late 60s? They found several cases of police officers mistaking Venus for a UFO. At least 1 case involved a car-chase.

What is more important, than whether or not it is a real event Neil Tyson refers to, is that anyone can test if what he says makes sense. Get in a car at night and drive when Venus is clearly visible and see for yourself...its that simple.

How many skeptics are just "pseudo-skeptics"? Er...i estimate it to be 3.5 skeptics. Looking forward to your conclusion on that, as it apparently is your main purpose with the question. Keep us updated!

Cops mistake Venu for UFO all the time. One cop even tried to beat Venu with a nightstick for speeding..

I wish I could tell you which one you are exactly talking about. But back in the 70s a cop saw one that ended up on project Blue Book. And just recently a cop saw on over Ohare Air Port...There are so many cop involved UFO sightings its hard to point one out specifically. But if you are truly looking for information, start with Fire and police reports in a location...any location, and some where there will be and entry. In fact, back in 2006 I had an incident that involved cops/UFO and they kept me out of court because of what happened. I just put my hands in the air and spent a few days in the hoosegow just to keep from it being front page news. I got into a fight with a monster, and the dispatch made another call while I was making my complaint, of an Unknown Creature. The cop arresting me shut off his radio and said "I dont deal with things like that". The whole thing was written up as an act of God. I plead guilty to DUI and my Judge agreed to not taking this first of fence in 40 years to a Jury, because of the extenuating circumstances and the load of wittinesss...My car ended up in a field with no marked of how I got there...but everyone saw lights in that field where there were none. Things were so weird that night I havent driven since. That proved to me right then and there that cops and other officials will cover up something like that just to keep it out of mainline thinking..have a good Holiday.
