I have an unknown sample composed of calcium and either nitrate or nitrite.?

I have an unknown sample composed of calcium and either nitrate or nitrite. In 2.500 g of my unknown I find that 0.758 g are calcium, 0.530 g are nitrogen and 1.213 g are from oxygen. Find the empirical formula and the identity of this compound (assume the empirical and molecular formulas are the same).
