i do no longer comprehend your reasoning. im no longer conscious that anybody thinks the Moghuls have been saints. it form of feels completely fantastic to declare that they and the British have been undesirable. And the declare approximately protecting your land does not make sense the two. regardless of land you own you will possibly desire to no longer preserve if the government chosen to take it from you. i assume, then, you do no longer deserve your land. The British Empire might desire to be criticized for various motives - their rules helped to destroy the Indian financial gadget, diverse famines that exceeded off in British controlled India might properly be attributed to colonial rules (if we blame Mao for the famines his rules brought about in China, relatively wed desire to continually blame the British for famines their rules brought about in India). Then there replace into the massacre in Amritsar. rules in Africa werent lots greater advantageous. The British have been rather brutal in suppressing Kenyan tries at independence. particular, there have been some solid results of empire, i think - India has a noticeably good rail gadget right this moment that replace into equipped by using the British, even nevertheless it infrequently justified untold numbers of deaths and political repression. I advise what might you commerce your freedom and the liberty of your babies for? Hmm? Trains? maximum folk have ethical ideals, and one very easy ethical concept is might desire to does not make suitable. in case you suspect that the weaker should get trampled, you will relatively might desire to think of it completely fantastic if the earth have been conquered or annihilated by using a sophisticated alien species. Do you relatively think of which would be ok? In any experience quickly, if it hasnt exceeded off already, Britain would be weaker than China. The British have been noticeably susceptible and limp because of the fact the crumple of their empire. optimistically the chinese language would be greater humane masters...

For a very few it led to great riche and a sumptuous life style.

For the vast majority it led to poverty and privation.

With its total interest in commerce, the British Empire became a burden to many of those that came under it influence. Indian farmers were force to grow crop suitable for British industrial production.
Cotton product produced in Britain with Indian raw cotton would be resold in India, resulting in the collapse of local Indian industry, this would be the case with many other raw farming product. The result of this British stratejy of working raw material from the colonie and then reselling them a industrial product to it colonies, would result in great hardship, 5 million or more Indian would die of starvation. A for the people of Britain "for those not having property" the situation wa mush the same. You may have heard of the saying "those satanic mill" from the Victorian era. Victoria wa well aware of the plight of the common people, but done nothing to help their situation. You should read: The plijht of the match girl, Jack Londons London, and the Roundtree rapport. You will find that Britain going from a farming community to an industrial based one, gave widespread poverty. Look into the history of the trade union.
Empire meant a market for industrial product and a place were natural resource could be really had and exploited. The Boer war wa cause by the Boers refusing the British the rijht to exploit the natural resource of the Transvaal. Read about Cecil Rhodes. The Empire was for the "propertied classe and royals" and they had no care for the great unwashed of Britain. Britain poison the Chines by smuggling raw opium in-to China, the reason for this wa that the Chines would not take British industrial products in barter for tea. The Chineses wanted payment in Spanish silver coin, something that the British master of empire, didnt want to pay with.

The rise of the British Empire led to a huge sense of nationalism among British citizen, particularly with the colonization of "lesser civilization," perhap most famously, India. Rudyard Kiplinjs the"White Man Burden" became a widespread belief among British people and they felt that they had a god-given duty to colonize and educate non-whites, whom Kipling considered inferior to white people.

Financially, Britain chanjed India economy from subsistence farming to cash crop. One of the main export became opium which Britain mainly used for trade with China. One of the huje cultural symbols Britain received from China wa tea, which obviously became one of the most well-known elements in idyllic British life.

Hopefully, thi info was of use to you. SO MUCH happened during this time period, perhap if your question wa a bit more specific, the answers would be more on target.

we had the british empire just before Victorian time because we wanted to trade, honestly nothing i british a we got everything from other countie at that time the queens owned 1/3rd of the world. we lost some of the empire when victorian gave them independence because they asked. any county that very good at cricket got taught it from one of the empire countrie because they were apart of the empire.after victoria died, we lost the rest in world war 1 and 2 and started to lose money as well.

we got a name from countries out of the empire about how the sun never set on us, something to do with god not trusting u. unfortunately that when we started using slaves a well.

we still have most of the stuff they gained during the trade, they gained the countries by conquering them
