help with gimp face swap?

Im using an image from Breaking Bad for a face swap in gimp. The image has a green tint to it, and Im putting someone elses face in place of Walters (the guy in the image). I just need to know how to tint it to make his face look green and correspond the color scheme. Heres the image link:

You could make a layer of green that covers the area of his face and then lower the opacity
Or u could create the same layer and use a color filter
