If you lived in the Southern Hemisphere for some years and you insisted on annoying them with the story of your body hair, they might simply shave it off. Then you would never know.

Water goes down the plug hole in any direction - the hydrodynamics of your plug hole has more impact on the circulation than the tiny Coriolis force it experiences by Earths rotation. This is also not caused by gravitation or magnetism, but by the inertia of mass in a rotating frame of reference. I have actually two counter-rotating plugs in my house (Yes, it is a very stable house)

And yes, if you annoy people in the southern hemisphere often enough with your belly hair, they might solve the problem for you. But that is not different in the northern hemisphere, the difference is just the how the problem will be solved. In my region, pulling the problematic hairs out one by one would be more popular than shaving it off.
