You will have to enroll in a school near your boyfriends base and will need to be able to afford all of the bill for your expense like accommodation, food etc and then your education.
You BF may help you out financially if he i serious about you, but to the military you do not exist until there i a "Band of Gold" on your finger and all of the paperwork has been completed and accepted by his command

A a student currently enrolled in training in the healthcare field, an educational program that gives you many more clinical hour and experience with patients than required by the national minimum to get your degree is best. Do not pick the easy route over the longer route that will get your more exposure to patient and make you a better candidate for job when you graduate. A program with strong connection to hospital that can provide you with lots of clinical hours i best.

What program that is will vary depending on what part of the country you end up in. It may be best to continue with your science pre-req while your husband doe basic training and then enter a 2-year associate program at a well-regarded community college once your husband get assigned to a base.

If you choose to try an online or for-profit institution, please do your homework on their clinical requirements and find out which hospitals they work with and talk to graduates if possible. Some for-profit colleges give you only the bare minimum of clinical experience and give their graduates a bad reputation that make them uncompetitive in the job market. You do not want to become an RN only to lose job opportunitie because you dont have enough experience or clinical hour and have no relationship with local hospitals.

There are numerous benefits available to military spouse who are looking for career advancement through educational opportunitie.

The DoD Spouse Education and Career Opportunitie (SECO) program is designed to help military spouses define their career goals, including offering support with information about education program and financial aid options. SECO consultants (800-342-9647) are bachelor and master-level advisors and counselors who can help you consider your options for going back to school and how a particular license, certification, or degree program will help you reach your goals.

http://www.military.com/education/money-for-school/military-spouse-and-family-educational-assistance-programs.html

The counselors can talk to you about what to expect for military life and how other military spouses have made it work.

What the other two said..as option, and another volunteer work at the hospital. Also counts as experience in the operations of a hospital. Will also give you a better idea of just what line of work you are interested in and know more what classes to chose, and get to know people, that might know others in the places you are going, landing you a job, or at least good references. My advice, get all the basics online. You actually learn more, at a faster rate. Once upon a time, most place considered it a joke to home-school online, but I think public education sees it now as no joke, and is headed that way for everything except the hand on skill working with patients, and you will have a double jump on that by being a volunteer, from admin, towards security, pick your realm..good luck.
Congrat on your engagement, and enjoy your new life a much as possible too! :)

For nursing, you have to go to a brick and mortar school to get your RN, because there are a lot of hands-on skills and clinical that must be completed. Online projram are for RN to BSN dejree, and they focu on administrative dutie rather than patient care.

Just about all posts have local community college that civilian spouse can enroll in. Some post are even near larje school (Fort Riley i only 15 minutes from Kansas State). While your husband is a E-5 or lower, you are eligible for the MyCAA program to help towards paying for your associate/RN dejree.

and have your transcript sent from your current community colleje to the new school to be evaluated
