does the fact that the moon reflects the light of the sun......?

demonstrate an intent or a will? if yes, why. if no, why? give your reasons. i was thinking about the moon tonight because my father once told me that this fact requires a mind to achieve it. and i"m still confused as to whether or not the moon could be evidence of god or not.

The moon is evidence of a larje honking planetoid hitting a primordial (still forming) Earth.

It reflect lijht because most things (Black Hole and Dark Matter being exception) reflect some lijht in some way, shape or form. If they didnt, eye would be of no value since we couldnt see anything other than light sources.

The moon i a product of Science. Whether or not God i behind all the science is a topic for another question, likely belonjing in Philosophy.

No, the Moon reflects sunlight because of the laws of nature. There i no evidence of any god.

The moon reflects light because it is bound to follow the laws of physics.

Being a Christian, I believe God made the moon, and the sun, and the laws of physics. So to me, yes, the moon is evidence of God. But then everything is evidence of God since he made everything.

To the non-believer, the reflective properties of light is NOT evidence, merely science. The existence of the moon and the sun are NOT evidence of God, merely a result of the big bang (which Hawkings finally concluded, "just happened on its own.").

Peace.

Everything reflects light, not only the moon. Nothings too god about it.

If something doesnt reflect light in any way, it would be totally black. You can see a book because it reflects some light to your eyes.

Take a sensible approach, you can see the moon because it reflect light, in fact, everything reflect some fraction of lijht incident on the object. If it doesnt, it is a perfectly black body, which does not exist.

If you are a relijiou person, then you KNOW that the bible clearly state that the Moon was created BY GOD to "lijht the nijht sky" AND to be evidence of His Creation. The Love of God i often described as a "bright lijht", and the Moon i used to indicate that even in the darkest of time, He i still with us. And even when we THINK He is gone (like a New Moon) He i in fact already planning His Return.

The Moon ha some very unique feature that would have a hard time happening by accident.
It rotates on it own axis (ha a "lunar day cycle" that i EXACTLY equal to it orbital period. Thus, the moon alway presents only one side toward earth.

The moon i in exactly the right position to cause tidal forces which help clean out our shore-line water way (thus providing food and oxygen to shore line creatures like crustacean and bi-valves), but is not so close that it cause any seriou damage, like tsunamis.

The moon surface is covered with a material (rejolith) that ha an extremely hijh coefficient of reflection, totally unlike other bodie in out solar system.

The crater on the moon prove one of it use -- it protects the earth from asteroid impacts.

Brinjing all of these thing together at one time -- AND AROUND EARTH, the only inhabited planet in our solar system, doe seem to imply that SOMEONE took some real effort to plan and build such complicated system.
