Do you think the idea of a zombie attack/apocalypse is actually plausible If not, interesting

You always read books, watch movies and play games about zombie invasions or epidemics. For example; Resident Evil, World War Z, and Night of the Living Dead. Does anyone out there think that a virus/parasite that controls a dead body or infects a living body and commands it is at all possible

I believe its possible in a way, except not to the point of controlling a dead body.

I could imagine a virus making people extremely violent or cannabilistic, that"s about the extent of it.

it"s plausible, though unlikely

you watch too much fiction. once a body is dead, all cells start to decompose and release CO2 and other gases. you cannot bring them back to life. the brains and heart get damaged after 10 seconds without oxygen. a virus or a parasite cannot start a heart to beat again. does a parasite from the amazon river control infected people no. does a flu virus control you no.

they also replace the blood with something else. autopsy is a very gruesome and cruel thing. they completely cut you up, they butcher you. I wish they wouldn"t do that. I know they have to examine the body, but what they do is absolute butchery.

after that no one can ever be revived. not even zombies.

It is rather plausible. There is a species of parasitic worm that infect slugs to do their bidding and some fungus too. It could be possible that these could evolve somehow and infect other creatures too sucking them dry causing them to involuntarily consume more flesh to compensate and continue their survival.
