Do you have to contact your doctor if you stop taking a medication that causes bad side effects?
I was taking adderall and I noticed it was making me brief of breath. I felt like every breath I took wasnt giving me enough oxygen. I was constantly taking big, unsatisfying breaths. I was yawning a lot to recompense. Every few minutes my breath would feel complete. However Ive had this problem before and I figured it was anxiety. Eventually it went away. It was a while ago so I dont remember if I was taking adderall during that time. Anyway this time it was so bad I couldnt concentrate on anything else but breathing. I realized when I took my pill after not taking it for a day that the adderall might be the cause because I instantly felt like I couldnt breath. Ive since stopped taking it and I breath a little weird still but its very manageable now. The internet says to contact your doctor if you experience shortness of breath, do I still need to do that if Ive discontinued use? (My doctor doesnt do anything over the phone, Id have to go in. If I must I will, but the copay is $30 and hes about 45 minutes away and Id rather not do if its not requisite)
