If a black hole is caused by an imbalance of gravity, then would a worm hole be caused by a steady of gravity in a non-gravity Zone?

Theoretically, Black holes exist as the result of a Star dying, but since it has a heavy mass, the core doesnt explode outwards like everything else, it collapses inward, causing an inbalance of gravity.
If worm holes exist, would they be like black holes with the exception of being more stable (having a balanced amount of gravity in a non gravity zone) and if so, could things survive in a worm hole, or like a black hole, would things just get crushed by the high concentration of gravity?

***technically theres no right or wrong answer since none of this is proven, but I just want to hear some theories...****
