Did English Recusants compromise in Ireland during the 17th Century?

Im interested in understanding whether English Catholics (Recusants) settled in Ireland during the 17th and 18th Centuries, but cannot find any sources. Please include a citation in your answer.
Please do not include any information on British Protestant migration patterns- I understand the presence of the Anglo-Irish aristocracy in Ireland and the settlement of Lowland Border Scots in the Ulster Plantation.
