Post subject:  can you be a medical doctor without chemistry a level?

I am now studying at AS level
-Biology
-Law
-Psychology
-English Literature
-Critical thinking

I am begining to be interested in working in the medical profession but i don"t ponder nursing would stretch me enough. I have done 2 weeks work experience at a G.P"s surgery and absolutely loved it. I dont particularly like chemistry hence why i havn"t taken it at as level but apparently Biology is the hardest science to take and a huge chunk of it is biochemistry anyway so i can understand it.

Otherwise i"m looking into clinical psychology. where i can still be a doctor but not practice medicine.

I have a genuine intensity for people and learning. I have three very close friends who are all doctors so i know what the profession entails and the work that has to be put it.

Any advice or ideas??? possibly other career routes that have the same -ish enviroment/salary.

No you can not. Chemistry at A degree I a demand at practically each and every scientific tuition (a few require each chemistry and biology, however the majority simply require Chem) Im no longer definite what to propose, A degree chemistry is certainly difficult, you must be capable to fully grasp and use it on get a well mark within the examination. If you are best expected a B for extra technology, then except you are undoubtedly observed and are inclined to sacrifice your social existence so as to research each and every minute to maintain up with the workload, then I could select an extra profession. I did triple technology GCSES, reaching AAB and took chemistry for A degree - I used to be going alongside the direction into remedy however ultimately transformed my brain to a extra compatible profession. Not pronouncing that it can not be performed, however so much scientific faculties require no less than AAA for A degree (adding sciences and maths) and to be best expected a B at extra technology, good lets imagine you are going to battle. Have you ever proposal of going into nursing or whatever else within the scientific career? There are different jobs except being a surgeon?
