Calculate the pH of the following solutions.

(a) 1.0 M HI

(b) 0.030 M HNO3

(c) 3.0 M KOH

(d) 2.7 multiplied by 10-5 M Mg(OH)2

I have no idea how to do these as my calculator screen always ends up in syntax error when I attempt to solve.
