Not quite contrived so ReadOnlyDgn so user can not directly type, but the content remains concerned TEdit dr bs modified via code .

if not mistaken if I change the property ReadOnly : = True , then the barcode would not be able to write in the TEdit .

Yes , if TEdit set readonly , well just the same, can not be written also by the barcode , because the barcode function exactly like a keyboard .
