Hi,

I was wondering if Amelia Earhart"s recognition and story can be categorized as an unsung hero.

or should I talk about Doctor Joseph Warren as my subject line under the topic, unsung hero.

Earhart is well known in the public consciousnes, so cant really be described a unsung.

Warren on the other hand is largely unknown (particularly outside of USA) so would be a more suitable topic.

Definitely Doctor Joseph Warren. Amelia Earhart i definitely not unsung, if anything her rather modest achievements are given more attention than they merit.

thats a gender component. to ladies human being, Amelia turned right into a hero because she broke gender obstacles. an person-friendly pilot attempting a similar, would slightly make it into the newspaper, now to not aspect out the history book.

Amelia Earhart was a hero for her times and does deserve recognition but since she is so much better known to modern Americans circa 2011, one could say her song still resonates even if the most recent film bio-pic flopped badly- - - -Earhart has stayed in the news, recent articles have spoken of further proof she died on an obscure Pacific Island whereas Dr. Joseph Warren has been shoved into an obscure corner by moderns and ought to get an airing.

As wondrful as Amerlia was, she was indulging in a personal obession, seeking a measure of fame, whereas Dr Warren was fulfilling what he felt was his duty to the communitty that he loved.

Peace///////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
