I bought a 12volt 12 amp power supply. It Has four posts Ac input L and N, L is red and N is black. Dc output has +V(red) and COM (black). but when I apply 110 to L I get power reading on the other three pins. When positive is hooked to L and Neutral to N I get nothing on the 12v output. What am I doing wrong?
Supply is marked as SW-12010AA (no manufacturer) INPUT 100-120VAC 3.2A
OUTPUT
+12V 12A

"apply 110 to L I"
AC power ha to be applied to two connection or you can get no power at all out of the AC line.

"positive i hooked to L and Neutral to N I get nothing on the 12v output"
There i no such thing a "positive" in the AC line. I think you mean "hot" ??

You are missing a ground connection. For safety, use a 3 wire plug and cable, and connect the hot to the "AC input L", the neutral to "Ac input N" and the ground to the metal case. If you do not get 12 volt out of the DC terminals, then something i broken.

You should get an output, if the supply is working properly and the switch i turned on, and if none of the fuses are popped.

.

Connect 110V AC to L and N.
12 volts DC can be obtained between +V and Common.
