Ozone layer "Ozone Hole" ha been happening, perhap for ever. It wasnt discovered until we had satellite, and only after some time wa it recognized that the Antarctic Ozone Hole i a seasonal phenomenon, just after we spent a whole lot of money replacing a lot of refrigeration systems with new one that really dont cool a efficiently, thus requiring more electricity, making more CO2, perhaps adding to the upcoming (?) global warming that will be submerging Al Gores new multi-million dollar beach house in southern California.

Ozone depletion is/was a real problem, but it has been halted in time by banning CFCs. The ozone layer is slowly recovering.

My 2010 calender recently ended. Strangely, the world did not end. I threw the thing into the trash. I went on with my life. When the Mayan calender ends on December 21, 2012, the Mayan calender will end. I recommend that at that point you throw your Mayan calender into the trash, and then go on with your life. This reminds me of the Medical doctor who performed a physical exam on a calender. He then concluded, "There is nothing wrong with you except that your days are numbered." So it is with the Mayan calender. On December 22nd, 2012, throw the thing into the trash. And get on with your life.
